Diesel Flow by FIMA Global
Diesel Flow is an ashless cold flow improver additive which improves operability for a range of diesel and biodiesel fuels and blends at low temperatures.

Used throughout the cold regions of Australia for 40 years by oil companies, fuel terminals and end users in stationary and mobile diesel engine equipment. Diesel fuels from many different origins contain varying amounts of wax which will crystallise and gel below certain temperatures.

Diesel Flow inhibits and modifies wax crystal growth, offering effective cold flow management for many of the currently available diesel fuels and blends. Best results for reducing Cold Filter Plugging Point are achieved when diesel/heating oil blends/(winter/alpine/ highland diesel) and Diesel Flow at efficient treat rates are employed.

Key Performance Benefits:

Lowers CFPP
Lowers cold filter-plugging point (CFPP) by up to 25°C.
Cloud Point depressant
stabilises the paraffin (wax) as it begins to crystallise in the diesel.
Pour Point depressant
Lowers the diesel operating temperature to a maximum of -30°c.
Enhances
Engine reliability in cold temperatures.
Fights
Gelling in cold weather.
Improves
Low-temperature start ability.
Prevents
Wax settling during storage.
Safe
For use in all diesel fuels including biodiesel.
Protects
Reduces downtime and maintenance costs.
Alcohol Free
Contains zero alcohol.

Available Packaging Sizes:

1000 Litre

Recommended Dosage:

Diesel Flow must be added at temperatures above the diesel fuel cloud point (the temperature at which wax begins to crystallize). It will not reverse gel or wax crystals once formed.

Do not store at temperatures below -18°c.

1 litre of Diesel Flow to 2,000 litres Diesel for temperatures down to -7°c.

1 litre of Diesel Flow to 500 litres Diesel for temperatures down to -30°c.

Dose the fuel at the fuel depot or directly into the diesel engine fuel tank. Add the Diesel Flow to the fuel prior to topping up with the new fuel delivery.

The turbulence will successfully mix the Diesel Flow through the fuel.

Alternatively the Diesel Flow can be added at anytime to the fuel in storage and action of recirculating will ensure adequate dispersion.

Usage:

Medium volume users such as Service Stations and Transport companies.
